Great start to the Season!!

It's been a hectic start to the season with planning mentoring sessions for the FA Club Mentor programme and our new After School Clubs for both Yrs 3/4 & 5/6 Boys at St Philips Primary in Middleton, Leeds and Yr 7-10 Girls at Beckfoot School, Bingley and Priesthorpe School, Pudsey.

I've also started my three FA Mash Up Clubs at Bradford Academy (Mixed), Bradford P.R.U. (Mixed) and Halifax Academy (Girls).  These are longer term funded, fun sessions; with the participants owning the process to ensure full engagement.  A good idea by the FA, the kids are enjoying these sessions.

My BTEC practical delivery sessions, working with Lee Ashforth and the students on the Shay Stadium Community have been productive and I'm pleased to be involved, helping the students get their qualifications and hopefully adding knowledge and skills to their playing ability.

I've also had a really productive chat with the County FA regarding getting involved with the FA Disability programme, and I look forward to the diversity and the obvious rewards that will bring, working with disabled athletes.

Cheers, Mark.
