I've been really pleased with the feedback provided at County level and from all the clubs and schools I've worked with, on the girls football "Join Our Club" scheme. The idea is to engage the youngsters to want to get involved playing football and I think it's a great idea. The support from schools and clubs in faciliting this has been in the main brilliant, with excellent back up and provisioning from Caroline Hulme at the West Riding County FA. A thoroughly enjoyable project to be involved in and with outcomes for all involved. I've had some other good news this week, as I've been offered and accepted a role contracting as an FA Club Mentor. I'm both flattered as well as honoured to take up this role, as I know from seeing the applicants for this position, that I'm in excellent coaching company. Mark.
