Just before Easter I had a call from a coaching colleague and, following our conversation and a meeting to discuss the details, I'm delighted to be getting involved in what I believe to be a
superb coaching programme that creates a positive outcome either way, for 16 to 21 year old ex pro club academy players to get another chance with a pro club, or a possible job and career through
an apprenticeship from a business sponsoring them. The businesses benefit from this too and it seems to be a win-win situation all round. We'll be holding trials shortly and then
working with the players for two and a half days per week plus running two teams, playing regular fixtures against pro academies and other semi-pro club youth teams. This is a really
exciting proposition as I get to coach a team as well as provide some good quality feedback through video analysis. We'll be working with Calderdale College's media studies team.
We're in final stage talks with a club for a training and match day venue. All is looking good and I'll keep you posted as things click fully into place.

I was curious if you ever considered changing the page layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
